I am looking for a job, a steady job, at a hospital or a nursing home. I am not ill any more and I am able to work any shift that is required to work. I need a steady job so I will not lose my house or my car. I have to kids to take care of and it is very hard to do so with out a stable job.

Louisville has a truck load of nursing jobs. You just need to approach the different hospitals personally (Baptist, Norton etc.). You mention that you were ill sometime back. Is it because of your age? Looks like you are computer savvy and you should not face any problems in getting a nursing assistant job.
I know where you can find about 70 open CNA jobs in Louisville Kentucky right now.
One thing to know about job searching is that most job search sites are NOT open search sites. In other words, Monster, CareerBuilder and other only post jobs that advertisers have paid to have posted.
It is unbelievable, but Monster has ONLY 3% of all open job advertised on the Internet. CareerBuilder, a few more percentages. Good for employees because they get a massive number of resumes. Bad for you because you compete with sooooo many others.
Look for a meta-job search engine that posts all advertised jobs on the Internet. Kind of like the Google of job search.
